The NJSIAA Tournament of Champions is slated to tip this week and there are sure to be a few more memorable moments in the 2016-17 high school basketball season. While the Manasquan and Red Bank Catholic girls prepare to challenge for state supremacy over the next week, let's take a look back into the not-so-distant past and relive some of the best moments from this postseason - the Shore Conference and NJSIAA Tournaments.

Manasquan senior Stella Clark hits Faith Masonius with a behind-the-back pass in a quarterfinal win over Middletown South.

Mater Dei senior Elijah Mitchell hits a step-back two to beat the third-quarter buzzer in the SCT final vs. Marlboro. Manasquan senior Devin Jensen scores his 1,000th point in a CJ II first-round win over Robbinsville.

 

Rumson senior Tyler Pierson hits a game-tying three in the final minute to send CJ II semifinal vs. Manasquan to overtime.

 

Cherokee senior Isabella Therien goes coast-to-coast and beats the buzzer to give Cherokee a 37-35 win over Toms River North in the South Jersey Group IV final.

Manchester senior Dejah Adams hits a game-winning three with five seconds left and Manchester wins its first ever sectional title.

 

Dara Mabrey hits two free throws with 0.2 seconds left and Manasquan wins a 67-66 thriller vs. Rumson in the Central Jersey Group II final.

Hunterdon Central junior Anthony McDowell hits the game-winning three with six seconds left and Hunterdon Central beats Freehold Township to win its first sectional title.  

 

Toms River North junior Holden Petrick hits a leaner with two seconds left in overtime to send South Jersey Group IV final vs. Shawnee to double OT.

 

Tyler Pierson dunk caps Rumson's win over A.L. Johnson for the program's first sectional title in 44 years.
