Brandon Martorano belted a two-run homer in the first inning and Luca Dalatri went five innings for his 33rd career win as the Colts (19-8) blanked the Lions (14-11) to advance the Shore Conference Tournament semifinals Wednesday against Red Bank Catholic.
Dalatri has now won 28 consecutive decisions dating back to the start of his sophomore season and is one win shy of tying the Shore Conference record for career wins, held by Toms River East alum Casey Gaynor.
Cid Porter and Nick Hohenstein each added an RBI single for CBA and Kenny Campbell pitched the final two innings to close the game out. Martorano finished the game 4-for-4 and also doubled in the fourth and scored on Porter's RBI single.

Justin Fall pitched a complete game shutout and Trevor Wagner, Matt Shiffer and Tyler Wisnewski led the offensive effort that helped the Indians beat the Colonials and reach the SCT semifinals against Middletown South.
Wagner homered and drove in two runs in a 2-for-4 game at the plate while Shiffer was a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Wisnewski finished 3-for-4 with a double for Toms River South.

Aiden Supp broke the game open with a three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth and the Caseys pulled away to beat the Panthers and reach the SCT semifinals next Wednesday, when they will play defending champion CBA.
Supp finished the game 2-for-3 and his first-pitch blast over the left-field fence stretched RBC's lead to 8-2. The Caseys scored four runs in the bottom of the first but did not score again until Mike Spinelli's RBI bloop single made it 5-2 one batter before Supp went deep.
Anthony DeRosa was 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI doubles, including an RBI ground-rule double during the four-run first inning. Doug Facendo and Spinelli each had an RBI single in the first as well and Mike Veit plated a run with a ground out in the frame.
Point Boro cut the lead in half with two runs in the fourth inning off RBC starter John Poccia. Frank Graziano delivered an RBI double to open the Panthers scoring and Sebastian Severio hammered the first of his two doubles to make it 4-2. Point Boro had runners on second and third with none out against Poccia, but the RBC senior escaped trouble thanks to a pair of strikeouts and a failed suicide squeeze attempt.

Ryan Ruziecki hit a tie-breaking two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning and center fielder Tom Gannon threw out a runner at home plate to end the game with the go-ahead run on base as the Eagles (22-4) topped the Cougars (15-8) in a thriller. Middletown South advances to the SCT semifinals to play Toms River South next Wednesday at Count Basie Park in Red Bank.
Nick Umbro pulled Colts Neck even at 5 with an RBI double in the top of the fifth inning and finished the game 2-for-4.

Kenneth Harrigan struck out 11 over six shutout innings of two-hit ball and the Red Raiders beat the Destroyers to advance to the sectional semifinals Tuesday against the winner of Thursday's game between No. 6 Point Beach and No. 3 South Amboy.
Shane Chandler hit a three-run home run in Keyport's five-run third inning and also closed out the win on the mound with a scoreless seventh inning that included a pair of strikeouts. Harrigan also contributed at the plate by going 2-for-3 with an RBI and three stolen bases, while Evan Smutz was 2-for-2 with a run scored.
