No. 5 Middletown North 6, No. 1 CBA 2
Phil Pecherski threw 5 1/3 strong innings and sophomore Tyler Ras nailed down the final five outs to propel the Lions to a win over the Colts.
Ras went 3-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Middletown North offense, which scored three runs each in the first and second innings. Garrett French doubled in two runs in the first and Cole Fluta doubled home two in the second.
Brandon Martorano hit a solo home run and also pushed another one across on a sacrifice fly to pace the CBA offense. Nick Hohenstein also went 3-for-4 with two doubles in defeat. Evan Menendez took the loss for CBA.

Johnny Zega blasted his third home run of the season and drove in three runs as the Eagles downed the Mustangs for their seventh straight win.
Jon Martin allowed two unearned runs in a complete-game, four-hitter while walking one and striking out one. Jeremy Dyzenhaus put in five innings of working in taking the loss, allowing three earned runs on four hits while striking out three and walking six.

Mike Yard went 2-for-3, including a two-run single in a three-run Wall first, and the Crimson Knights edged the Huskies.
Jake Malone also went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while Gene Scott and Nick Maciejewski were each 2-for-4.
Regan Dombroski worked 4 1/3 innings for the win, allowing one earned run on seven hits while striking out two without a walk. Dylan Colatrella closed out the win with 2 2/3 hitless innings, issuing just one walk and striking out five.
Adam Elliot went 2-for-3 at the plate and allowed three runs on 10 hits in six innings of work. Jake Burlew and Tom Collazo each went 1-for-3 with a run scored and Chris Vetter was 1-for-4 with an RBI.
