Tom Holdorf pitched a complete-game four-hitter and went 3-for-3 with three doubles, four runs scored and three RBI to lead the Colonials (12-5, 9-4) past the Braves (12-6, 7-4) and into sole possession of first place in Class A North.
Holdorf allowed one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out six on 102 pitches. He helped his cause with an RBI double in the third and a two-run double in the fourth.
Phil Marcantonio was 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI and Mark Costanzo drove in three runs.
John Pudder took the loss and threw 55 pitches over three innings.

Mike Soldo and Matt Stadelberger combined on a one-hitter and the Green Dragons (10-4, 7-3) beat the crosstown rival Mustangs (3-12, 1-8) for the second time this season. Soldo allowed the one hit and also walked one while striking out five over the first three innings and Stadelberger allowed just one baserunner in his four hitless innings. He struck out six, walked none and the lone baserunner to reach against him did so on an error.
Stadelberger also went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI single in the first inning to lead the offense. Soldo was 2-for-2, John Prato doubled and scored in the first and Kenny Bala singled home a run in the fourth.
Joe Manso picked up the lone Brick Memorial hit.
No. 1 Toms River South 7, Southern 3
T.J. Scuderi launced a three-run home run and Tom Campo belted a two-run bomb as the Indians (12-1, 10-1) cooled off the Rams (8-5, 7-5). Scuderi also pitched the final 1 1/3 to close out a win for starter Matt Hartshorn, who improved to 2-0 while allowing one earned run in 5 1/3 innings of work and 77 pitches.
Scuderi and Campo each added a sacrifice fly, giving Scuderi four RBI and Campo three. Matt Shiffer was also 2-for-3 with a double and two runs scored.
Marcos Matias was 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI to lead the Southern offense. Nolan Watson also went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored for the Rams.
Andrew Luongo look the loss, throwing 65 pitches in four innings.

St. Rose 15, Keansburg 2
Brothers Brody and Riley Maypother each homered and both Brody Maypother and brandon Mology drove in four runs apiece to lead the Purple Roses (14-1, 10-0) past the Titans (6-8, 6-5). With the win, St. Rose clinches no worse than a share of the Class B Central title for the second straight year.
Brody Maypother finished 4-for-5 with two doubles and four runs scored to go with the homer and four RBI. Riley Maypother was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI, while Mology was 3-for-3.
Will Gannon also went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI for St. Rose. Gannon also earned the win on the mound, allowing two runs on four hits with no walks and seven strikeouts. Riley Maypother pitched the final two innings.
Liam Riecks led the Keansburg offense by going 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored.
Point Beach 19, Ranney 0 (5 Innings)
Five Point Beach players went 3-for-3 and the Garnet Gulls (7-6, 7-4) took off with a 12-run first inning and did not look back in a win over the Panthers (0-11, 0-10).
Phil Antoniotti, John Nista and Kevin Donnelly all went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and Kenny MacPherson was 3-for-3 with two doubles and four RBI. Nista hit three doubles and drove in three, while Donnelly doubled twice and drove in two. Max Alia was also 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Josh Yates chipped in a 2-for-4 day at the plate with a double, two runs and two RBI.
Jude Lovegren and Jean Vernier combined on the three-hit shutout, with Lovegren pitching two perfect innings with four strikeouts.

Don Zellman was 2-for-3 with a triple and and RBI and Jorden Jurkiewicz, Miles Feaster and Justin Thompson all went 2-for-4 with an RBI as the Lions (14-2, 10-2) plated four in the top of the fifth and collected six extra-base hits to beat the Hawks (6-8, 6-6) to clinch a share of the Class B South championship.
Jurkiewicz also tripled, while Feaster, Thompson, Keith Apostolos and Anthony Elefante added a double each.
Zellman picked up the win on the mound, allowing three earned runs on seven hits while striking out six without a walk. Zellman fired 96 pitches.
James Johns and losing pitcher Gavin Pabst each went 2-for-4 and Johns and Kirk Montanye each drove in a run for Manchester. Matt Miggliaccio also went 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
Jackson Liberty 7, Point Boro 3
Daniel Sofield highlighted a four-run Jackson Liberty fifth inning with a two-run single and the Lions (9-6, 8-4) beat the Panthers (6-9, 4-8) to keep their hopes of a division title share alive.
David Melfi was 2-for-4 with a triple to lead off the fifth and also drove in a run. Matt Hickman finished 3-for-4 with an RBI and Billy Hart was 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI for Jackson Liberty.
Kevin Ritz pitched the first six innings to earn the win, allowing three earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two and throwing 92 pitches. Andrew Ludovico worked the seventh inning and struck out two.
Sam Collins was 2-for-3 with an RBI and Justin Rafi was 1-for-3 with two RBI to lead Point Boro. Nick Guzzi pitched 4 2/3 innings and threw 79 pitches while taking the loss.
