Class A North
No. 8 Freehold Twp. 10, Neptune 6
Chris Goodman, Ryan Ford and Nick Lodispoto each had two hits, Nick Portaleos and Kevin Goodman each drove in two runs and the Patriots (6-5, 5-4) outlasted the Scarlet Fliers (1-12, 1-9).
Goodman was 2-for-5 with a triple and two runs, Ford was 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI, and Lodispoto was 2-for-3 with a run scored for Freehold Township. Portaleos was 1-for-2 and Goodman finished 1-for-3. Cristian Corcione and Brandon Smith were also each 1-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in the win.
Ryan Kurczeski fired four innings of relief for the win, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with four strikeouts on 58 pitches.
Ron Cole went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to lead Neptune and John Gannon was 2-for-4 with a double, a run and an RBI in the loss. Arden Underwood took the loss on the mound.
No. 6 Manalapan 10, Howell 4
Anthony Naylor went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI and the Braves (11-4, 6-4) scored 10 runs in the first four innings to bury the Rebels (7-6, 5-5).
Giovanni Ciaccio was 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and two RBI while Dan DeBlasio and Jake Pellecchia each went 3-for-4 with a run and RBI.
Ryan Crehan pitched 2 2/3 hitless innings of relief to earn the win and combined with Hunter Serrano for 4 2/3 innings of relief behind starter E.J. Melendez.
Nick Ruszczyk and Kyle Brex each went 2-for-4 for Howell, with Ruszczyk doubling and driving in a run. Ryan Bearse was saddled with the loss for Howell.
No. 1 CBA 13, Colts Neck 12
CBA (12-1, 9-1) scored four times in the sixth and five times in the bottom of the seventh to overcome an eight-run deficit to stun the Cougars (6-7, 4-5) in walk-off fashion.
Jack Harnisch hit a game-tying two-run double in the seventh and after a CBA loaded the bases, Andrea Dalatri was hit by a pitch to force in the winning run.
Tom Rodgers picked up an RBI double in both the sixth and seventh innings, Eddie Dudek singled home a run just before Harnisch's double and Nick Hohenstein picked up a two-run single back in the sixth.
Colts Neck jumped out to an 8-1 lead behind fourth-inning home runs by Anthony Galason and Reece Horneck before CBA answered in the bottom of the inning with RBI singles by Tommy DiTullio, Hohenstein and Dalatri.
Matt Barnes earned the win in relief and Anthony Lazzaro took the loss.

Spencer Margulis homered for the fourth time in five games and also doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth to lead the Lancers past the Bulldogs. Chris Caragliano added a two-run single in the eighth to pad the lead and Brendan Martin closed out the game by striking out the side in the bottom of the eighth.

Tanner Powers and two relievers combined on a four-hit shutout and the Crimson Knights (12-1, 10-0) handed the Tyler Ras his third loss of the season in a win over the Lions (3-10, 2-8).
Dylan Richey broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth with a two-out RBI single. Wall then added five runs against Middletown North's bullpen in the sixth, with Doug Wetzel doubling home two runs.
Wetzel was 1-for-1 with a double and Sean Nocera went 3-for-3 with a run scored. Grant Shulman also went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Wall.
Powers allowed three hits and a walk over five shutout innings while striking out four and throwing 69 pitches. Teddy Sharkey followed with a scoreless sixth on 21 pitches and Jason Horowitz needed only five pitches to close it out.
Ras allowed one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out nine and throwing 84 pitches in the loss.
Middletown South 14, Ocean 6
Joe Sprake belted two home runs and both he and Danny Minze drove in four runs to lead the Eagles (7-5, 5-5) past the Spartans (5-7, 4-6). Minze went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and four RBI in the win.
Jack Sheridan was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and Aurelio Licata was 1-for-2 with two walks, three runs scored and two RBI for Middletown South. Jack Kinsella, Trevor Brey and Rob Zega all finished 1-for-3, with Brey and Kinsella both doubling and Zega scoring two runs. Kinsella also drove in a run and Chris O'Connor was 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
Evan Arbeeny belted a two-run home run to lead the Ocean offense.

Jordan Pellot hit a solo home run in the fifth and Jake Horniacek drilled a two-run shot in the sixth to account for the Long Branch scoring and the Green Wave (5-8, 3-7) held off the Warriors (6-8, 3-7).
Evan Yerman allowed just one hit over 4 2/3 scoreless innings, which also included three walks, five strikeouts and 81 pitches. Matt Mincieli allowed two runs on three hits over 2 1/3 innings to close it out, striking out four with no walks and 43 pitches.
T.J. Brewer went 3-for-4 at the plate, Ivan Navarro was 2-for-3 and Mincieli finished 1-for-4 with a double and scored on Horniacek's home run.
James Harmstead and Ethan Thompson each went 1-for-3 with an RBI, with Harmstead doubling in Thompson in the seventh. Alex Wells allowed three runs in five innings and 79 pitches in taking the loss.

Paul Francheschini went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs scored and three RBI to lead the Panthers (8-3, 6-3) past the Griffins (1-10, 0-8). Nick Zbikowski was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI, Trent Livolsi doubled in a run and Sam Collins was 2-for-5 with two runs in the win.
Christian Aurin (26 pitches) allowed one hit over two scoreless innings, Ryan Sansone (52) allowed three runs in three innings and Andrew Laspina (32) gave up a run over two innings for Point Boro.
Matt Morro went 3-for-4 with a a double, a run scored and an RBI, Jarek Vargas was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI and Liam Leonard hit a solo homer and scored two runs for Donovan Catholic. Leonard took the loss, allowing six runs in the first two innings.
