Sunday's Ocean County Tournament quarterfinals have been postponed due to rain early Sunday morning and forecasted throughout the day. Three of the four games are scheduled to be made up on Monday.

The Brick at Brick Memorial quarterfinal is set for 7 p.m. Monday night, with Brick Memorial looking to reach the OCT semifinals for the second straight year. Brick Memorial defeated Southern Regional, 3-0, behind a three-hit shutout by Alec Merritt while Brick topped Toms River East, 2-0, on the back of Nic Chirichello's four-hit shutout.

Jackson Liberty will visit Toms River North on Monday as well, with the start time still unannounced as of this post. Jackson Liberty sophomore Matt Pickus pitched the Lions past Manchester, 5-0, on Saturday with a five-hit shutout that included 11 strikeouts. Toms River North junior Brendan Mullins, meanwhile, spun a three-hit shutout in a 4-0 Toms River North win over Central Regional.

Point Pleasant Boro is set to host two-time runner-up Barneget on Monday with the start time still to be announced. Point Boro got a combined two-hitter from Mike Falconetti and Frank Graziano in a 5-0 win over Donovan Catholic on Saturday, while Barnegat ace Jason Groome returned from his 19-day hiatus due to ineligibility to strikeout 13 and pitch the Bengals past Pinelands, 2-0, in a two-hitter. The two Class B South opponents went to extra-innings in their last meeting, with Point Boro prevailing, 3-2, in eight innings.

In the final quarterfinal game, Toms River South will host Point Pleasant Beach - the lone road team to win in Saturday's opening round - on Wednesday at 4 p.m. Toms River South right-hander Trevor Wagner took a shutout into the seventh against Lacey and the Indians held on for a 4-1 win over the Lions on Saturday. Point Beach sprung the only upset of the first round by knocking off defending OCT champion Jackson Memorial, 4-3, thanks to a pair of runs in the seventh inning on RBI singles by Josh Yates and Kevin Donnelly, as well as a complete game from John Vanschoick.
