Point Boro took a 2-1 lead in the top of the eighth on an RBI single to left by Justin Rafi. It was the second lead Point Boro seized in the game - the first coming on a solo home run by Kyle Lauria in the top of the sixth inning that broke a scoreless tie.

Bordentown answered on a solo blast by Schroeder, who also pitched a complete game on the mound in addition to his three RBI.
