NJSIAA Changes Bat Rules for 2012 Baseball Season
In just a few days the High School baseball season will begin. Always an exciting time for me, having coached baseball for so many years during my coaching career. Being retired for quite awhile, I remember the excitement of opening day and the anticipation of another season. One of the sounds of spring baseball in New Jersey was the "ping" off the bat when someone makes contact with the bat on the ball.

Championship Saturday turned out to be something very special to 3 Shore area football teams. Neptune, Asbury Park and Matawan came away with the trophy, as we saw some amazing and spectacular performances at both Rutgers and The College of New Jersey

Playoff cutoff weekend is always an important date for any football team trying to win a State Championship, and for 20 teams in the Shore, the dream lives on. As predicted a few weeks back, there were not many surprises, as far as the teams involved, only with some of the seeds
