Atlantic Physical Therapy Center 2017 Week 2 Football Picks
The Shore Sports Network football staff of Kevin Williams, Matt Harmon, Ed Sarluca, and Bob Badders are back with their 2017 weekly picks in Shore Conference football action.
We will also have a guest picker each week. This week’s guest picker is Lacey legend and former NFL player Keith Elias. Elias starred at running back for Lacey and helped the Lions win back-to-back South Jersey Group III championships in 1988 and 1989. He set multiple school and Ivy League records during a storied career at Princeton University before being signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted rookie free agent in 1994.
Elias spent three seasons with the Giants (1994-96) and then played with the Indianapolis Colts in 1998 and 1999. He also played one year (2001) with the New York/New Jersey Hitmen of the XFL. Following his career, Elias became a motivational speaker, and is currently the NFL Player Engagement Director of Former Players Transition and Programs.
