Senior Steve Palumbo scored 17 points to lead four Howell players in double-figures as the Rebels (6-7) handled the Mustangs (1-9).

Sophomore Brandon Wilson poured in 14 points, while senior Connor MacLeod and junior Tyler Hoops added 11 apiece. Sophomore Eddie Morales also pitched in six points and 12 rebounds.

Jackson Memorial 71, Middletown North 61

Senior Chris Hawryluk scored a team-high 20 points and the Jaguars (5-5) beat the Lions (6-5) on the road. Junior Andrew Trent added 18 points and sophomore John Pitlak chipped in 10 in the win.

Freshman Rob Higgins scored a game-high 30 points to lead Middletown North.

No. 9 Rumson-Fair Haven 80, Middletown South 57

Senior Brendan Barry scored 23 points and handed out six assists to help lead the Bulldogs (8-3) to a win over the Eagles (1-10) - their seventh straight win.

Senior Mickey Schluter and sophomore Teddy Sourlis added 12 points each for Rumson. Sophomore Nick Unrath led Middletown South with 13 points and senior Andrew Roesch poured in 10 in the loss.

No. 6 Ranney 63, Raritan 59

Freshman Bryan Antoine scored a team-high 21 points and the Panthers (11-1) held off the Rockets (7-4) on the road. Antoine also had six assists and five steals.

Freshman Scottie Lewis added 17 points and 10 rebounds while junior Joe Mahoney poured in 13 points in the win.

Senior Joe Strand led Raritan with a game-high 24 points. Senior Jordan Smith chipped in 17 points and senior Eddie Tynion added 10 in the loss.

Marlboro 63, Wall 58

Senior Matt Dean led three Marlboro players in double-figure scoring with 15 points and the Mustangs (6-5) outlasted the Crimson Knights (2-9). Dean also grabbed seven rebounds and blocked five shots.

Junior Daniel Weiss added 12 points and 12 rebounds and junior Ryan LaRocca chipped in 11 in the win.

Junior Gene Scott led Wall with a game-high 16 points. Sophomore Steve Geis poured in 13 points and junior R.J. Janeczek added 12 in the loss.

St. John Vianney 46, Matawan 43

Senior Grant Goode scored 23 points and the Lancers (8-4) edged the rival Huskies (5-6) on the road. Senior Zach Howarth added 10 points in the win.

Senior Mergim Gjyriqi led Matawan with 18 points and sophomore Reggie Tawiah chipped in 11 in the loss.

Point Beach 62, No. 8 Colts Neck 61

Senior Jimmy Panzini led four Point Beach players in double-figures with 15 points and the Garnet Gulls (5-5) edged the Cougars (7-3) to climb back to .500.

Senior Alex Mrusek and sophomore Trevor Covey each added 13 points and sophomore Danny Frauenheim chipped in 11 in the win.

Senior Lloyd Daniels led Colts Neck with 15 points, with Kyle Gordon adding 13 and Robby Hill pouring in 12 in the loss.

No. 3 Manasquan 85, Neptune 55

Junior Tom Sheehan scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and five Manasquan players scored in double-figures to ignite a Warriors (12-0) rout over the Scarlet Fliers (4-7).

Senior Jack Sheehan added 18 points, six rebounds and nine assists, while senior Ryan Jensen contributed 15 points, 17 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Junior Brian Paturzo chipped in 14 points and junior Devin Jensen added 11 points and six rebounds.

Junior Barry Brown led Neptune with 13 points.

St. Rose 58, Holmdel 53

Senior John Krotulis scored 16 points to help the Purple Roses (6-5) beat the Hornets (3-6). Sophomore Kyle Cardaci led Holmdel with a game-high 23 points.

Southern 76, Millville 51

Senior Peyton Wejnert dropped 34 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked four shots to lead the Rams (6-4) to a win over the Thunderbolts (2-8).

Sophomore Jake Dubois added 11 points, four rebounds and four assists while senior Ethan Dubois chipped in six points, five rebounds and seven assists for Southern.

Spotswood 40, Shore 31

Junior Tom Mannino scored 13 points, but the Blue Devils came up short on the road against the Chargers.

At Jersey City Armory

No. 2 Mater Dei Prep 51, St. Peter’s Prep 38

Junior Elijah Barnes scored 14 points to go with six rebounds and five blocks and the Seraphs (9-1) beat St. Peter's (5-4).

Senior Kyle Elliot added 14 points and senior NyQuan McCombs poured in 12 for Mater Dei.

No. 1 CBA 68, Bergen Catholic 43

Senior Jack McGuire scored 19 of his game-high 25 points in the second half and the Colts (10-2) bombarded the Crusaders (8-2) in the second half to win the finale at the Dan Finn Classic.

McGuire also grabbed five rebounds and handed out nine assists, while senior Pat Andree scored 14 of his 22 points in the second half while grabbing nine rebounds.

CBA stormed out to a 13-0 lead in the game before Bergen Catholic rallied to tie the game at 18. The Colts took a 27-23 lead into halftime and ripped off a 12-0 run during the third to take a 43-27 lead late in the quarter. CBA put the game away with a 14-0 run to open the fourth quarter.

No. 4 Lakewood 68, Paul VI 60

Senior Sean Barksdale scored 24 points to go with 12 rebounds and five blocks as the Piners (8-2) topped Paul VI (4-5) at Pemberton High School.

Senior Amir Tyler added 17 points and four assists and junior Honore Richardson added nine points on three three-pointers, as well as four rebounds, four assists and seven steals.

Cherry Hill East 59, Freehold Twp. 54 (2 OT)

Bobby Weise scored 20 points along with five rebounds and four assists but the Patriots (7-5) fell to the Cougars (7-3) in double overtime. Senior Nick Facendo added 18 points, four assists and three steals for Freehold Township.

No. 5 Toms River North 82, Rancocas Valley 67

Senior Pat Marinaccio scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds to help lead the Mariners (10-1) to a win over the Red Devils, avenging last season's NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public Group IV quarterfinal loss in Toms River last season.

Senior Hunter Petrick and junior Mike Nyisztor each scored 20 points to lead Toms River North and juniors Jaden Rhoden (14 points) and Darrion Carrington (10) also reached double-figure scoring.
