All Star Games Cap Hoops Season

The high school basketball season came to a close Monday with the Shore Coaches Association Senior All-Star games at the RWJBarnabas Health Arena on the campus of Toms River High School North. The Shore Sports Network once again served as the media partner for the games and thanks Jersey Mike’s Subs for their continued support of programs like this which promote high school sports in the shore area.

We would also like to thank our other partners, specifically Atlantic Physical Therapy Center, Big Frog Custom T-Shirts, Ocean Trophies and I’m Possible Northeast Headquarters (Colts Neck) who once again sponsored a riveting slam dunk competition. Dr. Jim Louro of Jersey Shore Institute of Health & Wellness in Manasquan and Jackson served as the official game doctor.

The games are run and organized by the Shore Conference Basketball Coaches Association and special thanks go to Barnegat Boys Head Coach Mike Puorro, who serves as president of the organization.

Shane Capone and Chris MacIntosh, Directors of the Atlantic Performance Institute and physical therapists at the Brick office of Atlantic Physical Therapy Center presented game MVP Awards to Kenny Jones of Mater Dei Prep and Shannon McCoy of Barnegat.
